Need a refrigerator fixed? Or a leaky pipe repaired? FixDen might be your answer to finding just the right person to get the job done.

Steady Innovation, through the support of Navigate, launched a new app earlier this year.

Steady Innovation Corporation, founded by Navigate Business Incubator client Dan Genest of Steady Brook, N.L., is a "software as a service" (SaaS) company that develops web-based applications. Its new app product, Fixden, connects home owners with maintenance service providers.

"Owning a home means maintenance and upkeep, and not everyone has the know-how to fix a leaky pipe or a damaged appliance," said Mr. Genest. "There are many service providers out there — Fixden takes the work out of finding a reliable individual or company for the task required."

He said Fixden is a comprehensive solution, seamlessly linking pre-approved vendors with clients throughout the entire process, from the initial tendering phase to payment completion.

Steady Innovation, established in 2019, has a team of five software engineers who design and develop software products for a range of industry professionals. The team optimizes the performance of products by coordinating front-end testing and user acceptance.

The service is now available at www.fixden.com. iOs and Android apps will be released summer 2024.
